This would allow for intra report navigation and allow users to jump to different dashboards/pages from within the report.

Adding to the feature -
1. For all hyperlinks or Bookmark:
1.1 Allow developer to set a default how the page should be opened. Options: Open in Current Tab, Open in New Tab, Goto Open Tab, Open in New Window, Goto Open Window.
1.2 Also allow user to overide the default, by providing a right click menu option to let user select how the page should be opened. Options: Open in Current Tab, Open in New Tab, Goto Open Tab, Open in New Window, Goto Open Window (Same options as 1.1)
2. Allow Bookmarks to be directly accessed by URL
2.1 Same options as 1.1
2.2 Same options as 1.2

I am coming across lot of customers who are looking for this feature. Especially big and medium size corporations who are using this tool to integrate BI solution and Web based application across the organization.

Yes please! We need this option for hyperlinks in Text Box and anywhere where a custom web URL action is permitted, such as in a Button action.
It shouldn't be that hard. I am saying it because there is already such an option in a dashboard tile. When you set the Custom Action of a tile to an external link, there is an option to open the link in the same tab.
What we need, Microsoft, is to add similar option to report features where an external hyperlink is accepted.

We need this functionality Is there any solution found so far, this is one Basic functionality which i think power bi must provide.

Please add this feature, if we have multiple hyperlink then user gets confuesed if every link open in new tab.

this is a pretty big deal for us. we have an application with icons that link to other Power BI workbooks and they open in new tabs. it then proliferates into a bunch of tabs because each workbook has icons. i see this as an easy feature to add a param on the Action setting in the panel for the window to target, like you would in HTML/javascript.
