Support ESRI ArcGIS maps in Power BI Report Server.

Thanks for your feedback - at this time, we're not planning to add this capability to Power BI Report Server. We understand this will be disappointing to many of you who've voted and provided feedback, and this wasn't a decision made lightly. And of course, you'll continue to see investments in these capabilities in the Power BI service going forward.

This is awful news. This is a must have feature for us.

Not planned? There goes my 4 year capital investment into Power BI as the BI Platform for my organization......
RE: ESRI ArcGIS maps in Power BI Report Server
This would change my life
RE: ESRI ArcGIS maps in Power BI Report Server
The mapping options currently in PBIRS are almost useless. Please move forward with adding the ArcGIS product
RE: ESRI ArcGIS maps in Power BI Report Server
I am currently specifying a upgrade for a reporting services application. Two features I really want is to run the reporting service on premise as well as having ArcGIS compatebility. Make it happen Microsoft!!
RE: ESRI ArcGIS maps in Power BI Report Server
I just attended a demo for the ArcGIS product and was pumped about using it - until I realized it's not available in the Report Server version. Get it done please!
RE: ESRI ArcGIS maps in Power BI Report Server
So is this a technical limitation of the Report Server (not sure why since the feature works great in the cloud desktop app). Or is it that Microsoft wants to force customers to the cloud for the additional revenue. My organization already have a SQL Server Enterprise license, so Power BI Report Server is already included in our licensing, but moving to the cloud based solution for BI would run is another $75k a year. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but our assurance group would never allow having sensitive financial data in the cloud.
Because of this limitation, we are forced to go with Sisense, Tableau or Qlic. A real shame because during out evaluation of all 4 tools, Power BI was the leader.

I'm Head of Business Systems for 3 government organisations - this is an essential feature for them - I would fully support this implementation.
