It would be really cool to be able to use the scanner on mobile to filter reports based on an image instead of a barcode. For example, a store associate picks up a product, points the scanner at it, and Power BI uses the same technology in Bing image search to recognize the product and filter a report based on product images in the source data.
The second tier of this would be integration with Hololens. Imagine walking into a store and simply looking around to get all the sale and inventory information you need.
