The PQ documentation currently is mainly Focused in explaining functions parameters, outputs and usage but is very limited when it comes to the implementation details. I know this is understandable because of the target audience for the software but when doing query optimization we usually miss having a guide with things like datastructures access times, algorithms used, lazzy and non lazzy operations etc... It would save lot of trying and guessing. I also think that giving this info to the community would help to the development of a "good practices guide".
