The team will be investing in the integration of the dashboards and leverage the dashboard platform of Power BI.com as the solution for this scenario

RE: Support dashboards in Power BI Report Server
Tableau thanks you for the business you are sending their way. Allowing companies to have SSRS and Power BI dashboards on site would be a huge benefit. Why, I have to ask, did you buy Datazen? Elimination of competition?
RE: Support dashboards in Power BI Report Server
We cannot publish data to the cloud in a financial services organisation, will just have to move a competitor product that can support on-prem dashboards!
RE: Support dashboards in Power BI Report Server
Does Microsoft really think that limiting features in the on premise version will somehow sway customers to change strategy and go to the cloud version? It will only help your competitors.
RE: Support dashboards in Power BI Report Server
I'm disappointed to hear this. Not all companies are willing to go to the cloud. This is how the competition will start chipping away at your customer base as it did the last time you let SSRS sit stagnant. Our companies ERP systems run on IBM with our reporting and smaller applications running on SQL Server Enterprise. The IBM side of the house has already hosted demos of Cognos and Watson to try and sway support for moving our analytics to the IBM platform. This will not help that fight to stay our current platform.
RE: Support dashboards in Power BI Report Server
Due to security and corporate culture, we cannot have data published outside our network. By not adding dashboards, you are literally telling your current and future customers to seek other platforms. I do not see why you would not consider this. I hope you consider this in the future otherwise, I cannot recommend Power BI as an option.

The admin response as per April 20, 2018 is a huge disappointment.
Could you please elaborate: What does "The team will be investing in the integration of the dashboards and leverage the dashboard platform of Power BI.com as the solution for this scenario" mean with respect to the actual PBIRS roadmap (timing) and users' worries about potential data leaks via PowerBI.com?
Comments below should have made it abundantly clear by now, that your priorities will be forcing permanent on-premise users to alternative platforms.
RE: Support dashboards in Power BI Report Server
Can't believe that any BI solution will not support on-site dashboards.
Lots of businesses have severe limitations regarding what data can be published to the cloud.
Have to go back to looking at alternatives.
RE: Support dashboards in Power BI Report Server
I still don't get why all Power BI features are not available on-premises. Many companies want to use their infrastructure.
If it's difficult for some reason, you might consider to integrate dashboard and Q&A features from Power BI Service to Power BI Report Server, but with no data flow.
RE: Support dashboards in Power BI Report Server
You know that there are industries that will never go to the cloud, right?
RE: Support dashboards in Power BI Report Server
You should consider both dashboard and question answer functionalities in power bi report server.
