Would be great if we had a notes area of the Dashboard for people to leave comments or questions about the content on the Dashboard. Same would be true for the PowerView Reports, except have them rollup in the Dashboard area.

Thanks everyone for your support and votes! We're working on enabling commenting for dashboards and reports in the Power BI service soon. Stay tuned.

RE: Ability to add Feedback or Questions on Dashboard

I have a suggestion for the Dashboard Title feature:

Whenever we try to rename the title for any Dashboard using "Title" option under Format tab, it set the cursor in the Title Description for 2 seconds and then we have to again click on the Title Description tab to complete the title for the specific dashboard. It is quite irritating sometimes and I believe it can be resolved.

Need comments allowed per grain of data. For example, if I want to comment on a field in a matrix, and there is a slicer set to June 2019, that comment should only show up for June 2019. When I switch to July 2019, the report should have no comments again until they're added for that specific grain and period of data.

RE: Ability to add Feedback or Questions on Dashboard

I have couple suggestions for the future development of dashboard commenting feature:

1) An option to "Follow dashboard" so that you would get notified if new comments appear
2) An option for the owner of Dashboard/Workspace to choose receive notifications without tagging if new comments appear
3) A possibility to tag e-mail groups in the comment

RE: Ability to add Feedback or Questions on Dashboard

This is a good idea. if we can even leave comments on tables or Matrix. Sometimes its a good idea to write for our self when designing these report. I personally have a hard remembering what field were what after few months. so it would be nice if we can write some notes or comments

RE: Ability to add Feedback or Questions on Dashboard

Is there an update on the micro-feedback option? As this would be very useful for my organization. Or workarounds in the meantime?

RE: Ability to add Feedback or Questions on Dashboard

As a better addition to your existing reports you can always create a PowerApp that feeds/reads data into your Power BI reports and sits right on top of your Power BI Report, this will open up the options of functionality tremendously and in my experience has been very very useful. Also, a work around is to use the PowerBI (Preview) for SharePoint where users can comment and also like the report content.
