Once a model on the desktop has a lot of measures it becomes very slow to add new measures - several minutes - this means that adding a dozen measures for a new requirement can take a very long time. However, it is very quick to add new measures to a new .pbix that accesses that same main model via the service. But then those measures are only available to that .pbix. What would be a great way to get around the issue would be to be able to import these new measures into the main model once they have been developed in the separate pbix as that could be done as one batch and it would not matter if it took some time.

I can't believe this doesn't have more votes! I also find it incredibly tedious to add new measure across different pbix files. We have a different pbix for each client and whenever we upgrade our template we either have to make all the client related customizations in each new report and connect new data or we have to manually add each measure to each report. It's so counter intuitive and surprising that this would be necessary in such a powerful program.
