    Please add row number display on/off to Table visual. It is very practical.

    This feature shouldn't be hard to implement, though very helpful. The measure workaround doesn't seem to work when having joined tables.

    I agree too, row number is very useful for tables in visual page.

    I agree. We need a simple way to add row numbers as shown in Excel. Having to create a measurement is too complicated for a basic feature. Please add this as soon as possible within the next update as it is commonly used and necessary for some.

    I agree, if you need a unique identifier in a visual, but don't want to display something that could be uniquely identified to an individual, row number/counter is useful.

    For example, if you need a unique identifier, but don't want to display employee ID, account number, or name, row number would be very useful.
