Would it be possible to add a functionality that originally loads a large amount of data from a source, but then only updates according to some query the data already brought into the report?
My issue is that I have a large data set that I need to query on a regular basis, but the historical data doesn't change, new data just gets amended. Thus, I don't want to re-draw all the data every time that I refresh, but would rather only refresh according to a specified query that I can give the report. E.g. only refresh for data that is less than 3 days old.
DirectQuery also isn't viable as I need the historic data, but it takes too long to load all of it and will frustrate my clients on DirectQuery.
