When you pin a graph (or another object) with filters to the dashboard, the dashboard shows a tile with the filtered graph, but when you click on the tile, the whole report is opened unfiltered.

Clicking on a tile, should reopen the same filter configuration that was active when the tile was created, otherwise the UX is not consistent.

Thanks for the suggestion. We will consider this and prioritize against other ideas.

RE: Clicking on pinned tiles retain filtering settings

I think this would be a great feature, however it should be optional.

This feature would be great to have. We to have to personalize content packs to retain filters. Of course we would also need the feature of being able to pin read only content.

RE: Clicking on pinned tiles retain filtering settings

THIS WOULD BE AWESOME! Right now, people are duplicating report templates from content pack, personalizing and saving in order to persist filters. We have 90 personalized reports now when all we would need is one if this were implemented.

This would be very useful and allow us to have different dashboards for each country. Currently when you click on the dashboard tile and open the report, the filter is removed. Very confusing for users.

RE: Clicking on pinned tiles retain filtering settings

slightly related, but it would be great if you could tell the pinned tiles whether the filter configuration should persist from the time it was pinned or whether it should maintain a link with the original report tile so that when the filter is update in the report the dashboard tile also updates it's context / filter configuration.
