I would like the option to set global data colors for my reports based on a specific field within the data, that will impact all charts using that field.
For example, in our current data set we have a field 'Customer'. Each customer is assigned their own unique color that corresponds to our other documentation, to make charts easier to interpret.
Currently, I have to set the 'data colors' options for every single chart that uses the 'Customer' field. Whenever a new customer appears in our data set, I have to modify the data colors for multiple charts individually.
I would like the option to be able to set data colors for this field on a report-level basis.

RE: Global Data Colors
Agreed - nothing more unprofessional than having two charts with completely different color schemes for the same field. AT LEAST make sure they are consistent, but beyond that let us pick our own as well.
RE: Global Data Colors
The ONLY thing holding me back from making my monthly report super valuable and professional looking is this color issue. (e.g. this department should be able to quickly look at the report and know - my stats are purple... how is purple doing this month?... because the rest is just nice to know for them)...
RE: Global Data Colors
This is a feature i would also like very much
RE: Global Data Colors
I don't even need to be able to set the colors, I just want visualizations on one dashboard to use the same color for the same value in a common field.
RE: Global Data Colors
Voted! I need to assign a color to different sport teams and I have the colors as a data point. Would be ideal if the chart bars, maps bubbles, etc. to reflect those colors.
RE: Global Data Colors
Like we can do with filters we should be able to define data colors not only on the level of a single visual but also on higher levels which are a reports page and even the entire report.
