NewPower BI to be able to connect to SAP HANA SQL Views (stored outside of SYS_BIC) using the HANA connector

Currently, HANA connector can only connect to HANA views stored as repos objects in SYS_BIC schema. It is not possible to connect to a SQL view in HANA using the HANA connector. This is only possible using ODBC connection, which does not address our needs and is seen as a workaround only.
More info: Power BI can only read views stored as repository objects, and stored by default in SYS_BIC. This is fine when HANA views are developed via standard HANA dev Tools (e.g. HANA Studio), as the default location for these repository objects is to be stored is in SYS_BIC.
One of our scenarios involves using an in-house developed app to create SQL views. As a result, these are not stored by default in SYS_BIC, but in a catalog outside of this. As a result, Power BI cannot see those views.
We would like to see an enhancement to the HANA connector to access & consume SQL views (via the existing Navigator UI) which are stored outside of the HANA repository SYS_BIC.
