RE: Integrate Power BI Apps into Microsoft Teams tabs

there is redundancy of the apps and app workspaces. When trying to teach someone Power BI, this is where they get confused. Not sure of the point of having them both.

RE: Integrate Power BI Apps into Microsoft Teams tabs

the only way to integrate a Power BI App into Teams is to add a tab of type "webpage" and then put there the link to the app, right? Of corse this doesn't work with SSO like the "Power BI Report" integration you have then to logon separately in the iframe

RE: Integrate Power BI Apps into Microsoft Teams tabs

I have found that Power BI apps can be integrated into teams - at least reports. Have not tested other published artifacts in apps. The report is accessible from My Workspace, but the problem is that other Teams users will also need to have access to the report (Pro, Premium) AS WELL AS have downloaded the app themselves. I feel that apps has not been thoroughly thought out - at least for scenarios in which you wish to publish to the entire organization, no additional security restrictions.

RE: Integrate Power BI Apps into Microsoft Teams tabs

Currently you are only allowed to integrate Reports. This also helps with stopping having to duplicate access at the group and App level. If you want the users to be able to use the app and the Team.
