I see this as a bug, not a feature, when PBI Table visualization sees a row of same values, it assumes them as duplicates and just hides them. If we have a list of employees with 5 John Does, the table visualization shows only one. This is madness. Please fix immediately..at least allow user to toggle "hide duplicates" to OFF.

I understand that Power BI is an analytical tool for use cases where individual rows are typically aggregated. There are circumstances where I would like to see when there are duplicate rows in a table visual, however. In my particular case, we have a logging table used for drillthrough. The primary page shows a count of entries in the table, and the drillthrough allows users to log at details. There are circumstances where the log data has duplicates, and so the count and the row-level details don't match. I can add an index column, but it's artificially required simply to show the raw data. I would prefer a setting on the table visual to show duplicate rows.

Yes, i agree with this. It's an 'undocumented feature' and not intuitive.
