can we also consider this for power bi embedded
RE: Allow proper printing of Dashboards and report pages
need a way to iterate over the report data and print entire table by filter. say you are using account numbers, the table data would have all account numbers, but the iterative reports, output, would be by account number. and all table data, visible and non-visible would print,
RE: Allow proper printing of Dashboards and report pages
Currently, I have a nice background in Power BI reports, but when trying to print from the Power BI service the background images gets cropped and moved down at the bottom of the page. Same happens when exporting to PDF.
RE: Allow proper printing of Dashboards and report pages
We need this!!
RE: Allow proper printing of Dashboards and report pages
Printing may not be the most important function, but it cannot be that bad thought, right?

Seconding this comment:
"printing means all items in the report (even records that go across multiple pages) are rendered appropriately to be printed out."
We have to have a way to print everything in a long running table. A table has to be able to be set to span multiple pages, with headers on each page.
It is mission critical for our use case with clients, they require printed reports for executive meetings.
RE: Allow proper printing of Dashboards and report pages
I agree that Tableau is 1000% better than Power BI in printing and exporting, if we could get a exporting and printing functionality as same as SSRS then no doubt in moving to Power BI from Tableau.
We are pushing back Power BI due to lack of exporting functionality.
this should be a high priority than others.
RE: Allow proper printing of Dashboards and report pages
Printing and exporting static reports is one area where Tableau is vastly superior to Power BI. In fact, its enough of a benefit to switch back to that product.
RE: Allow proper printing of Dashboards and report pages
its simple...printing means all items in the report (even records that go across multiple pages) are rendered appropriately to be printed out.
if you can do it in SSRS, why is this so hard?
