we are using firebird 2.5 and using ODBC have no problems connecting

i have the same problem comment by Anonynous at January 21, 2016 about Firebird db under PowerBI

The index was out of matrix boundaries

This has been fixed in the latest update. Using Desktop app and firebird ODBC you can successfully connect to firebird database.

Yes, Firebird support or update for OBDC datasources trough the datagateway would be a big step forward for us

Is it already possible though to connect via ODBC?

I would be interested to know if they intend to connect with Firebird, I need it.
