We have an external scheduler (ControlM) that we are using to schedule all our systems including DWH loading, SSAS refresh, reports scheduling.
Unfortunately, the only API we found for the PBI dataset refresh allow to send information to refresh the dataset and that s all, the script finish here. The script do not wait till the end of the refresh to send back a code with a OK or KO of this refresh.
This functionality will be extremely useful for our production and IT ops team.
