I can copy the visual either as image or data table and paste it in other applications.

We recently released the ability to export data from tiles and visuals to a CSV file. This may work for y'all as a workaround until we add the ability to directly copy and paste the visual or data. You can read more about it here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/powerbi/archive/2016/01/06/power-bi-service-update-0106.aspx#exportTile. Be sure to let us know what you think about the feature!

This suggestion open for almost 3 years and will make huge improvement for user experience. We are dealing with end users - how you expect us explain them missing ability to copy cell value?

Sorry but this kills sales if we let users access and play with test reports. First what they want - verify data in ERP. How they suppose to do it?

CSV export is not helpful. I have users who see a part number in a table and need to search it in our ERP. instead of having to manually copy the part number in to the system, they need to be able to highlight and copy/paste it elsewhere. this suggestion has been up on this forum for too long. this is a basic computer function that is neglected in Power BI. its not a complicated suggestion. ALLOW THE CURSOR TO HIGHLIGHT.

Need to be able to highlight, copy and paste data in table visualizations. This is so frustrating when I just want to copy a single field in a table but cannot.

What is the status on this one? The workaround is not helpful at all. To much work for something as simple Copy-paste.

What is the status of the simple copy/paste for a grid/matrix?

Again, a very basic feature missing from PBI. The workaround with .csv files is an annoying workaround. Far too frequently I just need to copy and paste a table in to an email, word document or existing excel file.

I also need to copy and paste the value of a card visualization. Would it be possible to let us know from when is this expected to be available?

Please make it possible to copy and paste the value of a card visualization. It is so important! :)
