Ability to provide a custom UI for a user to enter some parameters / inputs prior to refreshing the data model and publishing to Power BI

Python for PowerBI Desktop is better. VBA is obsolete now.

This would be incredibly helpful. Currently, we would have to use VBA in Excel to write the results of PowerQuery & PowerPivot to a separate tab or file, then import this data into Power BI. Doing all of this inside Power BI would be significantly more powerful. Additionally, perhaps instead of using "add-ins", it would be better to simply let Excel, PowerQuery, PowerPivot, Power BI, and VBA be stand-alone blocks that connect to each other, so users can add or remove these features as needed.
