The "Split Column by Delimiter" UI doesn't include the column on which the split is performed, so if a user performs the split on the wrong column they have to either delete the step or open the Advanced Query Editor and edit the M script directly.
Please add the Column being split on to the Split Column UI in the Query Editor.
