The Date filters within the new Power BI Filter Experience don’t have an option for “between”, so it would need TWO of the same column within the New Filter Experience, for selecting a date range.
Unlike the conventional Date slicers, the date slicers in the New Filter Experience display a "time part", and there is no way to suppress that even for columns where only the dates are relevant.
