I work in the Real Estate industry and receive requests to plot data points on map showing sales in which our company has participated. Everything went fine until I tried viewing all the data points and ended up with "Showing a Representative Sample". I would like the ability to show a minimum of 2500 data points

I think enough people have burned by finding this out via the end user saying there are missing data points.
Overall...I'm disappointed with how long PBI team is taking to address this.

I'll be exploring alternative options while this feature gap is addressed.

I really can't believe this hasn't been done already. It's really hard to use Power BI for all of our BI when I can't handle mapping data points. I'm only trying to show 15,000 data points on the map and I've hit the max. Now I have users asking for the data so they can map in a custom google map.

This would be a great update to include more locations on a map

Any solution or workaround to have acceptable performance would be nice. Such as clustering data points when in zoom-out mode and unclustering them when you zoom-in.

I need the ability to either map data points into the 100's of thousands across the US or the ability to layer the map and search within a multipolygon area. If I could break it down into a smaller geographic section (State -> County -> Census Tract -> Census Block) and combine those layers with a layer of the data points, perhaps I could get it down to 2500 without having to create a report per Census Block.

This is important feature for us to go ahead.

This is an embarrassingly low number of points to display, renders Power BI almost unusable for point data when compared to others.

I had the similar issue I tried to plot point Brazilian cities around 5k points but there is a limit it can plot just 3500 maximum point. It's frustraction. I hope it will be improve in the future update.

Work in Telco and I've often been asked to plot +2,5 million Lat / Long.

Would not care about performance loss if it's an options, even if just on the desktop.

Currently using Python or R to plot the data instead.

I work in the water industry in Scotland, and as we are starting out in PowerBI this has become an issue for us too.
