and then be able to share those datasets.
Using perspectives with PowerBI would be a great way to hide sensitive data and make large data models more manageable.
PowerPivot for Excel is pretty much SSAS anyway right? Would it be possible to use the Analysis Services Connector to connect directly to an Excel PowerPivot Data Model instead? Maybe PowerPivot data models could be exported into a Services Connector readable format?
I'm not a BI Developer, just spitballing here.

Please also add the ability in Embedded to select which perspective to show

totally agree. Not only it would be nice to be able to manage perspectives in Power BI, but at the moment it is creating issues when importing data model content from an excel.
I ran into some issues whereby i wasn't able to delete some tables / columns in power bi as they were linked to some perspectives from the original imported excel data model.
