I agree. This should happen at the workspace level where the admin can backup/download all reports (via checkbox) from the workspaces (without needing to go into each one individually).
This will also greatly simplify the process when a database is migrated to a new server and updates need to be made in each/every report.

yes, at it must back up all element in the workspace, i.e. reports, datasets, workbooks, settings, etc,.

This should be an automatic scheduled (nightly) backup that for all workspaces in a tenant and be able to restore individual reports/dashboards or datasets

We need this a sa part of the control version to prevent a solution to be overwrited by a user.

It's July 2017 and I don't think as a user we have tenancy backup yet. I wonder if Microsoft is waiting for the online deployment and hosting model to solidify first. Apps and app-work spaces are fairly new and I imagine it would be difficult to roll out major backup frameworks until after these major changes.

Does anyone from Microsoft ever look at these requests? Too many good ideas seem to be ignored for too long.
