Currently hyperlinks in tables must begin with www., http:// or https://. Add "mailto:" as an accepted hyperlink prefix.
This would be very helpful for quickly allowing users to see an insight in the data, have the dashboard tell them who the right person to contact would be to address the issue or opportunity, and easily initiate an email to that person.

Following up on 09/21/17 comment by "anonymous", a scenario came up where one of our managers wanted to send a "group" email based on all recipients selected by filter/slicer... obviously, clicking dozens of mailto hyperlinks was not ideal.

Allowing multiple email to be group with an hyperlink would be nice.

This only works within the Power BI tables and not in the custom tiles one can create on dashboards, correct?

in addition to mailto:, will there be support for other non HTTP and HTTPS hyperlinks (e.g. ftp://, apps://, network locations, etc)?

As a temporary work around, you can create a custom visual and place the below code :

Contact Email
The limitation here is, for changing the mailing list, you will have to edit the custom visual again.

Would this allow mailto hyperlinks throughout Power BI, or only in tables? I've noticed that just inserting a textbox with a mailto hyperlink also does not work.
