I created an Excel workbook with an XML feed from A.W.rd.A.Day: http://wordsmith.org/awad/rss1.xml. I created a table in PV; text in the description of the word is cut off. I upload to PBI and create a tile. Text in the tile is also cut off. Not cool!

In the May release of Power BI Desktop, we launched the preview of the new table visual. Both the new table and new matrix visuals have support for word wrap in cells. By far this is the biggest barrier in sizing columns adequately in tables and matrices. Thank you for your speedy efforts to allow word wrap on table headers!

Glad to see this is getting attention. I've found myself wishing to have word wrapping capability several times recently.

This is the most important feature to add in my opinion and cannot believe it's not there yet...it's stopping many customer deployments for me. Long text viewer is single only plus it's a custom vis and won't work on export to ppt!!!!!!

Word Wrap very important as is Aliases - Report presentations otherwise appear quite unwieldy and clumsy.

Hi @Amanda (or @Charles Sterling), On behalf of the pain documented from the community in the comments below can we have an ETA or update on this word wrap feature ?
I too am just doing a simple tabular report showing project progress % completion and would like to word wrap the project titles but I have just discovered this feature isn't available or am I missing something obvious ? I now feel the same pain.
The LongTextViewer from @Lukasz Pawlowski is cool but only works for 1 column with limited formatting..It is just not for tabular reports.

you can add wrap option under transform option in Edit query option

There is now a custom visual that can be imported - Long TextViewer.
Seems to work well for me.

This is a needed feature! Please allow text wrap in tables.
