When using real-time datasets from Azure Stream Analytics reports are not updated in real-time. Dashboards are updated in real-time, but not reports.

Streamed dataset will only update on dashboards when you use a "custom streaming data" tile which has very limited functionality. If you create a report from a steaming dataset and pin the report to the dashboard it will not update automatically.
I would be happy just to have the option to set a regular refresh but this option is not allowed when streaming data is used.

I'm a pro user and neither my dashboard or report updates automatically

It is highly necessary to auto-refresh data. On the contrary, where is the fun in real-time data from Streaming Analytics when it doesn't refresh data on its own? I don't want to ask a question Q & A to witness it. We could definitely extend its usage through Q & A, but not depend on it.

For me it's the opposite, Dashboard is not updating in realtime, while the reports are (as soon as I open them they start refreshing). I have the same issue with dashboards not refreshing to reflect the source data, when using an excel file as well, which is just as annoying.
