In late 2016, Power BI improved our export data options to allow exporting up to 150,000 rows to Excel from a visual on a Power BI dashboard for Pro users. If you require higher limits, please vote on this idea. If you have more specific requirements, please leave them in the comments.

There are longer term plans to allow larger exports in that use case, but there isn't a current timeline as to when that will be available. Customers who have Power BI Premium can set a drill-through to paginated reports via URL parameters as a workaround in the interim, as there is no data export limit for paginated reports.

RE: Increase Export Data Limits
My end users are barking about getting only partial data sets and having to download via multiple requests. Not a good thing. Excel can handle more than 150,000 lines per sheet. Please broaden the interface to allow for a higher number of records exported.

RE: Increase Export Data Limits
Is there any update for an increase?
RE: Increase Export Data Limits
150K? I just exported 30K of a 48K row table. Why only 30K?
Regardless, exporting should be the whole table from Power BI.
RE: Increase Export Data Limits
Extremely odd this limitation, while spreading the usage of the tool.
End users complaining a lot about that limitation considering that Excel now can handle more than a million lines.
RE: Increase Export Data Limits
I hope there will be no limits!!! This is a crucial function for the users of the reports.
RE: Increase Export Data Limits
This is a deal breaker in terms of leadership buy-in if they cannot get to the raw data. We often need to do line by line auditing.
