In late 2016, Power BI improved our export data options to allow exporting up to 150,000 rows to Excel from a visual on a Power BI dashboard for Pro users. If you require higher limits, please vote on this idea. If you have more specific requirements, please leave them in the comments.

There are longer term plans to allow larger exports in that use case, but there isn't a current timeline as to when that will be available. Customers who have Power BI Premium can set a drill-through to paginated reports via URL parameters as a workaround in the interim, as there is no data export limit for paginated reports.

RE: Increase Export Data Limits
Need this limit to be elevated ASAP please
RE: Increase Export Data Limits
Why not have it match the excel limits for starters.
RE: Increase Export Data Limits
MSFT Support - Please let us know when the limit will be increased. It should be atleast 500K for excel to meet our business requirements
RE: Increase Export Data Limits
Planned from March 31, 2018???? Its a joke!!! More than year ago.
Come on!!!! This feature is highly important and necessary.
RE: Increase Export Data Limits
The current limit is ridiculously low. As a Power BI Pro user I can only export 30k lines of data to CSV. Please consider raising it to the limits Excel allows for their workbooks.
RE: Increase Export Data Limits
If Microsoft doesnt increase the limit of number of rows to export to .csv and .xlsx then we cannot be able to use microsoft Power BI as our enterprice solution. Please do the needful.
RE: Increase Export Data Limits
Power BI Service needs to increase the limit for # of rows to export to .csv and .xslx.
This is in high demand by our business users in order to keep business momentum moving forward.
RE: Increase Export Data Limits
This seems like a very simple issue to resolve. I know there are many other priorities, but the workarounds for this limit take far more effort than I think an actual fix would take. Is there a specific timeline for resolution? Thanks!
RE: Increase Export Data Limits
Why are limits necessary?
