Since publishing can take up to 10 minutes depending on the size of the file and upload speed, it would be nice to have a progress bar with an ETA so users don't cancel out of it because they don't see any progress.

RE: Progress bar when publishing
Can't believe this still hasn't been implemented. This is really a basic requirement.
RE: Progress bar when publishing
This is exactly what we need. It will make me want to wait, get a coffee, or go into a meeting when uploading #powerbi files.
RE: Progress bar when publishing
This progress bar would definitely help when you have complicated network environment.

RE: Progress bar when publishing
Publishing the report is a process of uploading the file into power bi service and more. It is important to have a progress bar with time measures.
RE: Progress bar when publishing
Seems like a quick fix that will enhance the experience significantly - way overdue
RE: Progress bar when publishing
My reports can take over 4 hours to publish and I never know if the upload is stuck or not. A progress bar / upload summary is essential. As of now, I can’t use PBI for this reason.
RE: Progress bar when publishing
As a not so great workaround - if you use chrome to upload your file, you'll see the progress percentage in the URL loading bar when you click on any other element inside your power BI account.

Microsoft PMs where the hell are you?
RE: Progress bar when publishing
This is absolutely necessary when you have slow network speed.
