The text box included in Power BI has very limited formatting options. The following items would make the text box more useful:

-Bullet/Numbering
-Spell Check
-Strikethrough
-Subscript
-Superscript
-More Fonts

The text box also tends to revert back to the default font randomly and the highlighting behavior is awkward. While the text box is not an advanced feature it should have basic functionality and should be useful.

RE: Expanded formatting options in text boxes

We really should be allowed to set a default formatting for textboxes e.g. size and font. Have found that the default text size is too small on laptops and so we constantly have to select a larger font size for each use of a textbox. They also revert back to the original default size randomly, especially when you delete a section of text

They also need to add options for line spacing, or, in general, reduce the amount of space between lines. It looks about double-spaced by default, which is garbage.

The text box should also support formatting that allows for tabbed indentions.
