Hi,

I love power BI it's the best/easiest reporting tool do date. However I've created a reporting site in SharePoint for my organisation where people can come to and search and use power view, power pivot, excel services and SSRS reports I would love to incorporate power BI reports and dashboards here too rather than it be a separate tool to search through.

Need to be able to have select Power BI visualizations within a webpart. Right now can only have the full report. Allow the option to select for instance, 2 visuals from a report or 3 visuals instead of having to display the whole report.

Hello, i have quiet the same problem wrigth now. I don´t like to offer another location as sharepoint is used. thanks for a helpful answer/suggestion

I have designed a Custom visual webpart that accepts two parameters from webpart properties

1) IE version - EDGE since SharePoint 2010 renders in IE 8 and is not supported by IE . Rest All browsers work fine .

2) On prem URL .

I ould then use this URL to preview in IFrame > works perfect with SharePoint 2010 and sure it will work with later versions of SharePoint.

It's borderline-retarded to make a business tool and then tell the business that it has to put its information in a public forum.

I have internal business user groups would like the integration of Power BI and on-premises SharePoint. If this is not supported, they would spend the money on other BI tools.

'@Tobias - this idea is for integration with SharePoint on premise, the link you posted is for integration with SharePoint Online.

This cannot happen soon enough. We had to develop a custom solution to enable integration with SP2010 for a very large client. With minimal hyperbole, I am waiting with bated breath for this and/or the SQL Server integration with Power BI.
