Just as values in a table can give a "do not Summarize" option, can we get a "do not summarize" option on the axis when creating a scatter plot? Its hard to generate good scatter plots when you are not able to put categorical fields on the axis.

The scatter charts should also be able to display a date as x-axis!

I started using PowerBI recently and I am impressed with the power and agility of the software. I have to say that it is disappointing that time series cannot be properly displayed using PowerBI in XY charts. Line charts are not a good substitute, as the do not display dates properly, leading to wrong trend analysis. Please consider this addition. It has many applications in science and business.

Specifically the fact that we can't pull date onto a scatter plot is very limiting. And if there is enough data, there isn't an alternative with using R or some other customization. And then that defeats the point of using Power BI.

Please add so that we can have dates along the x-axis!

I can't believe this isn't a feature already. Scatter plot is useless for me the way it is now.
