In my dashboard I have a slicer which filters a large list of names. The default color for the text of a selected item seems to be black. My background color is black, so when an item is selected it makes it difficult to see. I have the color for my font set to be turquoise so unselected items show up fine. It would be nice to set the font color for selected items.

Please make the change. Color formatting is a basic requirement for dashboarding.

The color for all item states should have an option to be changed.

We should also be able to choose the background color of selected items. Right now, they are always black, and this may not look good with the overall theme of the report.

This is really necessary. It should have been available by default and not as an enhanced feature. Please do the needful. There is no point in going for the custom visuals every time.

Please solve this issue as soon as possible... It could be very confusing.

Hi,
In case anyone come accross this post in their search for help, there is a MS Visual called "Chicklet Slicer" which is very versitile in comparision to the default slicer visual. It allows for a lot of customisation of the slicer buttons including setting images, changing selection colour etc.
