I know that we can now click on the menu of a visual and choose to export data. But what about exporting a screenshot of the visual to clipboard?

I suggest adding the option "copy visual to clipboard" right next to the option to export data from the visual. Here is a screenshot of what I mean: http://postimg.org/image/b2vkq15q9/

Also, perhaps allow users to copy the visual to clipboard by hitting CTRL-C?

My users are in dire need of this functionality because they often copy and paste charts into Word documents and PowerPoint presentations, and not all of them are savvy enough with MS Paint and screenshot capture tools (e.g. Snagit, snip tool, etc).

Yes. Please make this a priority. As a passionate advocate for Microsoft and Power BI it is an embarrassment this can't be done. This has already killed one of my key projects with users preferring Excel due to visual quality. Not having this feature limits buy in particularly at the non-technical end which in my industry is a large portion of the user base.

I agree!! I probably take 20 - 25 screen shots for every report I do. A "copy visual to clipboard" function would save me tons of time! Next release??!!!!

This a must, a basic requirement.

Couldn't agree more. Whilst I completely understand that Microsoft want us to move on from copying and pasting into Word and Excel and get people to always use the dashboard in the browser, I'm afraid a lot of my clients just want to copy and paste something into a Word report just like they did in the 1980s.....

This functionality is required in app.powerbi.com as an option on the visual itself so it is available to Power BI Embedded users too.

How on Earth this wasn't the first thing implemented? This makes using PowerBI to build presentations a huge pain in the equine and I've resorted to keeping Qlikview around for some of the more image heavy monthly presentations I need to do.

Yes, yes yes. Such an important simple capability. Users should be able to copy individual tile images, whole reports, whole dashboards --- copy to clipboard as JPG/PNG, for easy pasting into Office docs.

RE: copy screenshot of visual to clipboard

This is such a simple little thing that would make a significant difference. I use the snipping tool, but that's much more tedious way to do handle it than simply clicking a button in the menu bar.

RE: copy screenshot of visual to clipboard

This would be helpful. The workaround of using the Snipping tool is fine, but tedious

RE: copy screenshot of visual to clipboard

You can always use screenshot, but the image is almost always blurry.

Copying to clipboard would probably resolve this.
