please add 'version' as a data type
I have ran into an issue with creating a conditional column.
We currently control what goes out to our systems and have it as a phased deployment. We have the Steering Committee, our pre-production systems then finally our production systems.
We control what version of Office 365 goes out to each deployment group.
I am creating a dashboard for Office 365 version compliance that shows whether the system is compliant with the Office 365 version currently deployed to it deployment group. The version numbers are formatted this way: 16.0.10827.20150.
How can i compare version numbers instead of using comparing it as a string? What i am running into is that if a system had done an online repair, the system's office 365 version number would be higher than what's going out to its deployment group. When the version number doesn't match, as it is only a string comparison, it will return a non-compliant.
