So you can add a 'trend' line as an analytic in the line chart and it automatically fits a sensible line to the data and draws it. But then there's no way to read off the gradient or constant offset (e.g. via tooltip). Didn't it occur to anyone we might actually want to use the line rather than just have it look pretty?
