Groups are great for arranging various parts of a report and moving things around, but they can make it nearly impossible to adjust individual items because of how weird the click behavior in this app is. I've rarely been able to do anything that didn't require me to do the same process multiple times before it actually highlighted the items I want.
Furthermore, ungrouping the items sends them flying off into some random order within the selection pane, so that is not a helpful option either.
This would be helped if we could simply toggle a selection mode that either ignores or obeys groupings.
