    It would be great if we could Import a tabular model into PowerPivot.

    absolutely needed. It's a non-starter for any org which has built their analysis world around Excel PowerPivot and PowerViews.

    I would like to create a full power pivot model into a file excel and reuse part of the model in another excel to generate and share different power views starting from the same model.

    Just downloaded Power BI for my team to evaluate... EXTREMELY disappointed that a Microsoft product is unable to import one of its own main stay data feeds - Power Pivot Data. Again we have to look at other options because MS are dragging their heels. Again a big disappointment to my analytical team

    I use the Power Query in both Excel and Power BI Designer.

    Just to reiterate what was previously stated. Please do not release this without the ability to import PQ and PowerPivot models. I was shocked when I saw it was not already there.

    Thanks! It would often be a deal-breaker to use the tool if prior work could not be imported. It's wasteful and tedious to have to rebuild already built models in a new tool. Thanks again for getting this done, yesterday?
