    Power BI, by default showing the selected fields in the report tooltip. There should be a option to discard/add fields from the tooltip. e.g It shows Index column in Map visualization, which can be discarded.

    I'm sorry for the delay in updating this idea, but we have in fact made custom report page tooltips generally available as of the September release of Power BI Desktop.     I agree as well. The option of removing default values from the tooltip is needed and very much wanted.

    Agreed with everyone. Give the option to remove default values in tooltip. I added a map with bubbles, logarithmic sizes, and I don't want the user to see the calculated number, just the basic field.

    I would not consider this request fulfilled as I cannot remove the default values from tooltips, should the topic be re-opened as a new topic?

    Tooltips are great but there's always a default value showing up that is a duplicate of the area you're hovering over. It looks very messy and is sometimes confusing to the customer. Why is this needed or not something that can be removed?
