PowerPoint Export to take into account filters that have been applied to the report prior to export. This is essential for users which need to filter on historic dates and then wish to export the report with those details.

Since export to PowerPoint is already a half-finished feature in Power BI, perhaps it would be a good idea to move finishing this feature to the top of the queue before releasing another half-baked feature. It's time to begin treating Power BI as a product and not a sandbox. Business users are tired of hearing that a feature is coming or will probably be implemented, and IT employees are tired of being apologists for Microsoft's unfinished product. The introduction and removal of features in Power BI should be according to a strictly controlled quarterly schedule. Agile BI is only possible with stable tools and while Power BI has the potential to be a great tool, the flippant approach that Microsoft has taken with its development is simply unacceptable.

This seems to work. First, apply your desired filters to the report. Then, create a bookmark. Finally, go to Reading View and view that bookmark. When you export to PowerPoint, it will export that bookmarked view with filters applied.

Seriously Microsoft this isn't a difficult thing to implement - it IS however something that is seriously hampering many organisations adoption of Power BI.

Please, please, do this already. This one of our biggest roadblocks for an enterprise enablement.
Also, my frustration is that this is not a new idea. This previous idea asking for the exact same thing was marked as completed with an extremely limited preview functionality. Come on Microsoft, you cannot complete a 10% build of a feature and call it delivered! This is the previous idea -

The current idea should really have 784 + 2092 = 2876 votes (as of 3/1/2018) and thus should be among the top features you have on your backlog. This is not how any one of us want you to do community driven development.

This is a must-have feature so teams can easily and seamlessly share their data.

I am surprised more haven't voted for this one...it seems like a simple fix and would be very helpful to our org.

I need this in a contet of embedded report to provide a coherent service for our customers.

Any status on this feature? It has been over a year since the last update and I am beginning to get more users requesting the ability to do this.

This is a limiting feature - asking users to save multiple copies of the Power Bi dashboard with filters so that it can be exported to PowerPoint is ridiculous. When is this feature expected to be made available?
