Create a filter that allows me to say 'Show the top N categories by value', e.g. 'Top 5 countries by sales'

I'm very pleased to say we've just released the ability to add TopN filters to your visuals in our October update. RE: Top N Filters
Any chance this will be added soon?
RE: Top N Filters
This "TopN filter" in not posible yet??
RE: Top N Filters
I give my vote to add Top N filter. It's the only thing I'm missing at this moment
RE: Top N Filters
This is Crucial for me, something I imagine I Will use in every report. Would also be good to import named sets from a SSAS cube.
RE: Top N Filters
Yesss, this is really a nice ID, specially when you are managaging massive data. A tipical example is when you are grouping sales or purchases by country, and the list of countries is almost worldwide, selecting the top 5 or top0 makes your visuals much more useful.
RE: Top N Filters
Filtering for top N is a real life scenario... It will be great to have it available in power bi.
RE: Top N Filters
This is a basic requirement without which you can not make dashboard. For example I need to show my top ten materials procured that contribute for 80 percent rather than thousands of materials procured that contribute only for 20 percent
RE: Top N Filters
There is now a sort by value option in the visual window that helps a lot
RE: Top N Filters
RANKX does not work for me, I hava a data set of about 800 000 lines, when adding a DAX for RANKX I get out of memory. Please let me sort by a summarized column (when using drilldown) and show top n.
RE: Top N Filters
I have the same problem, RANKX on 1mil+ rows ... 32GB RAM, not enough:(
