It would be nice if there is an option to have a scheduled export of a report to PDF. A nice to have feature would be to directly e-mail it to people so they are being notified of the latest report.

Another update on this item - users now have the ability to set up scheduled subscriptions with paginated reports and 6 different formats, along with parameters per subscription to allow further personalization. There is also now the ability to create paginated reports against any Power BI dataset in the service, and we're planning to add drillthrough from Power BI to Paginated Reports in the short term. We still have plans to support e-mail attachments for Power BI reports as well in the coming months, and we'll share more specifics once we get closer to starting that work.

RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf
Hi,
We are thinking of using PBI Embedded for our Customer-facing app, and the only thing currently blocking us from going forward is the inability of the Embedded to export to PDF.
If possible, please add this (as I believe there are many more who'd love this to become a part of the PBI Embedded).
Thanks and kind regards.
RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf
My boss is asking for this so I need this because my job depends on it. Please make it happen this year or I'm gone.
Need csv or/and excel support. Thanks!
RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf
If your report coming in more than one page then your export to pdf option does not present any other page except the current preview one.

What's the status of this? I have no adoption of reports I have built because I cannot automate their distribution. People still don't want to go to run report themselves. They want it attached and distributed by email.

RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf
Especially for large datasets used to provide monthly metrics, a lot of manual effort could be eliminated by providing a function to export either tables (append to existing) or export data from visuals (measures, etc.) to SharePoint Online Lists or other database tools (or even within Power BI itself). This would be a static snapshot feature to capture the current state of dynamic data and preserve/archive history of KPIs.
RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf
I also agree to put the focus on data export. A PDF is nice, but periodically storing the data adds value.
Whether the export is to Excel, a SharePoint list, an Access database or whatever, I wouldn't care. The main thing is the technical possibility.
An MSFlow connector to the data would also be great. Currently you can query alarms, which is an interesting thing, but I don't know of any application that uses the alarm function seriously.
RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf
It would be nice if we have feature in Power BI reports to schedule the export Table's visual data to One-drive on regular frequency.
