I created an Excel workbook with an XML feed from A.W.rd.A.Day: http://wordsmith.org/awad/rss1.xml. I created a table in PV; text in the description of the word is cut off. I upload to PBI and create a tile. Text in the tile is also cut off. Not cool!

In the May release of Power BI Desktop, we launched the preview of the new table visual. Both the new table and new matrix visuals have support for word wrap in cells. The lack of word wrap is a seriously limiting feature for the multi-row card and cards. We need it ASAP

Any news on this? Not having this feature is really restricting my usage and would be good to know if I have to wait a week or a year?

Without the ability to present multi-line text in a table, matrix, or card format, we are unable to replace any other reporting platform in our practice. If Power BI is not a suitable replacement for any system it makes it that much more difficult to justify bringing on yet another system to configure and support.

Amanda, it is time to elevate this with senior management and yhe overall General Manager of Power BI. I would like to see more than a fledging response but a briefing/status on roadmap and ETA of deliver. Last communication was on August 1st, first since November 2014. Frankly, the lack of engagement or timely response is shocking. MSFT is loosing enterprise deployments and adoption because of this major gap, a table steak or basic function

this simple feature is a MUST HAVE to be able to incorporate BI tables and matrices into my company's reports more broadly.

We are waiting for this feature since so long.. Customers are getting disappointing without this feature.
