KPI Red/Yellow/Green Indicators were available in Power Pivot. With the new Power BI Desktop this feature is not available anymore. If you import from PP to the Desktop it converts the RYG Indicator Dots to a number. Will the Red/Yellow/Green Indicators be added back to PowerBI Desktop? If so When?

It's very exciting to be able to close this idea! With the July 2019 release of Power BI Desktop you can now create icon sets that show status indicators, in fact a whole range of icons, in your table and matrix visuals. Any update?
I could migrate 3 Excel Power Pivot dashboards to Power BI if I had this feature today.
Please let us know if this is coming out any time soon...

Currently the custom visual of infographics kinda do this, but sure is a little cluncky, getting this kind of customisation surely makes the visual more confortable to nom-analytical viewers

This is a crazy omission and many of our potential Power BI clients are asking why it's not there.

We can import data models from Excel Power Pivot, then they will be displayed as KPIs as you would expect. So the functionality for visualization is clearly in PBI, but not the modelling. Since years. Would it be so hard to implement it the way it is implemented in Power Pivot?
It would be more than welcome to have this enabled in PBI modelling as well. Once you have built your model in PBI, you won't begin to export it to Excel, create the KPIs, then import it back to PBI. And potentially build all your other measures and visuals from scratch again. This is a major limitation for many customers!
