I created an Excel workbook with an XML feed from A.W.rd.A.Day: http://wordsmith.org/awad/rss1.xml. I created a table in PV; text in the description of the word is cut off. I upload to PBI and create a tile. Text in the tile is also cut off. Not cool!

In the May release of Power BI Desktop, we launched the preview of the new table visual. Both the new table and new matrix visuals have support for word wrap in cells. If we beg and plead every day, will we get noticed and this function promoted as I really need this. I really want to use PowerBI over SSRS but these simple functions are a severe limitation

Having to export the table to Excel to word wrap it and then paste it into a PowerPoint kind of ruins the shininess of Power BI for my end users :(

An ETA please!

I come to this page ever couple weeks, hoping to see an ETA or an update. Amanda are you off this project or request? One update, yours, on August 1st 2016, since this was requested in November 2014 - honestly, do not understand how such a ball drop is continuing to happen. Can you provide an ETA or can someone else take the lead here? Thanks

Because of the reporting power and ability to roll up dynamic content with fantastic ease, Power Bi's uses and potential are boundless. But that potential is unlikely to be realized until your team addresses such severe limitations, yet basic needs as text wrap functionality in your tables, matrices, and cards.
