Ability to define rules at column level, to control the data fields available to different roles (e.g. employee salary visible to the users in finance roles only, while other employee details visible to other department roles).

This will be an issue with CCPA and other state regulations as well. It really is basic security.

I can't believe this still hasn't been resolved when GDPR is such a huge deal. Even just the ability to mask values rather than completely remove fields (so that visuals do not break) would be hugely important to so many of your users.

Super important functionality and a big gap today. We need this NOW. You got to deliver this functionality ASAP.

This would be awesome. Having to run a number of completely duplicated reports just for the sake of two columns, not at all efficient.

Something we need it badly in out report, why do Power BI have half baked solutions?
