I know that we can now click on the menu of a visual and choose to export data. But what about exporting a screenshot of the visual to clipboard?

I suggest adding the option "copy visual to clipboard" right next to the option to export data from the visual. Here is a screenshot of what I mean: http://postimg.org/image/b2vkq15q9/

Also, perhaps allow users to copy the visual to clipboard by hitting CTRL-C?

My users are in dire need of this functionality because they often copy and paste charts into Word documents and PowerPoint presentations, and not all of them are savvy enough with MS Paint and screenshot capture tools (e.g. Snagit, snip tool, etc).

This would definitely be a neat feature to have, when it comes to the need, to add certain visuals to to my presentations. Today I have to jump on multiple steps to get this done.

How can this still not be implemented? Ridiculous that in 2019 I have to keep firing up the snipping tool to copy interesting visuals to other applications.

Currently using Tableau and considering switching our entire organisation to Power BI as it's a lot cheaper, and nearly as good. Inability to copy and paste to Word/PowerPoint completely undermines the product.

Shame, as Tableau doesn't particularly support this function (it only pastes as bitmap as they removed the .wmf functionality about 5 years ago and never reinstated).

It is extremely important to have an option to copy visuals to Word/Excel/PowerPoint. It will will be fantastic if we can have a linked copy of the image.

RE: copy screenshot of visual to clipboard

We have just started using PowerBI at our organization. Without the ability for our directors to copy the visuals into a report or presentation, I might as well go back to using Excel only.

RE: copy screenshot of visual to clipboard

This is a must have. Other competitive tools do allow this between their own report types atleast.
