    Please we need this development ! Till then unfortunately we have to switch to another BI service that allows this type of connection

    After years, how is this not already available? The MySQL Workbench has had this built-in feature for years - so it must be possible. Come-on folks. Please get this implemented so that I can standardize on this tool for future projects. Till then, a non-starter...
