    Would be a great advantage. I am dealing with both solutions in European business at one of the 2 biggest automotive OEMs

    merging two sources , relational actuals and essbase budget is required here...provider would be benefical over mdx or xmla

    My company uses Essbase for all financial data and this would really help.

    We have an existing set of cubes that could eventually be migrated over to SSAS, but in the mean time it would be very useful to be able to connect to these using power BI

    I have a client which is a large university, 6,000+ staff. Source of all Financial data is Essbase cubes.
